PHOTO'S OF BADGE LAUNCH
Fans couldn't wait to get their hands on the limited edition Cloughie badges when they went on sale at the Nottingham Forest Open Day at the City Ground (July 31st, 2005). More than 1,000 were sold in just a few hours.
The badges, in the shape of Cloughie's green sweater and featuring the words 'Old Big 'Ead' (the nickname he gave himself), were being sold to raise money for the Brian Clough Statue Fund in Nottingham. The fund aims to raise around £60,000 for a statue of the Master Manager in the city centre. Volunteers worked in shifts to sell the badges.

As volunteers continued to sell the Cloughie badges, they later had a special visitor - Forest's mascot Sherwood The Bear.
