Fans queued patiently to meet their hero during a series of signing sessions to promote the paperback version of Cloughie's book, Walking on Water.

He told the website editor: "I'm in good nick."

The Master Manager looked a picture of health as he signed copies of the updated book. One fan commented: "It's great to see him looking so well."

The Great Man met fans young and old. "The response has been incredible," he said.
