Brian Clough was on top form when he met fans at a special pre-publication signing session for his book, "Walking On Water". Many fans queued for hours to speak to the Master Manager as he signed books at the Asda supermarket in West Bridgford, Nottingham (August 17th, 2002). These exclusive photo's show Old Big 'Ead in fine form.



Brian took time to speak to his fans individually. These excited youngsters below were told to "Be Good" - the same message he wrote in their books.

One fan asked for his book to be signed "to Fred". Cloughie replied: "Aye, your Mam called you Frederick."

It was clearly a special occasion for many fans as they posed for photo's with their hero.

The Master Manager enjoyed meeting his fans as memories of the glory days came flooding back. One fan said: "It was a dream come true to meet my hero."
