NOTTINGHAM'S STATUE
AND THE FAMOUS GREEN JUMPER
The stunning bronze statue of Brian Clough in Nottingham city centre received a special addition - a green jumper like the one the Great Man used to wear.
The green sweater was made especially for Nottingham's Light Night event which aimed to attract visitors to the city in the evening (February, 2009).

The statue, which stands nine feet high, was carefully measured to ensure the jumper fitted well. The special garment was made by members of the city council's community wardrobe department. Vicki and Sarah are pictured putting the sweater on the statue.
