CLOUGHIE FANS SAY FAREWELL

It was an emotional afternoon on 1st May 1993, when Cloughie said farewell to football management at his final home league match at the City Ground.

"I can't believe how good they've been to me here - and I don't even live here," said Brian as he reflected on his 18 year reign at the City Ground.

Although Cloughie's Nottingham Forest were relegated from the Premiership following a 2-0 defeat by Sheffield United, there was an outpouring of love and admiration for everything Cloughie had achieved.
